Patches (only 3 years old) male, neutered

Miss Kitty (approximately 6-8 years old) spayed

Miss K's owner died, and she's now in a foster home looking for a someone to adopt her. She's a very sweet cat that loves attention.
Siggy (10 months old, male, neutered) Loves to play.

Summer (7 years old) female

Summer was the companion of Dave who passed recently. This picture was actually taken when he took her to visit his sister. The two of them spent the days together reading the newspaper, watching westerns, and she even went along on his daily hikes.
He named her Summer because he found her on the first day of
Summer on one of his daily hikes. She was just a tiny kitten with a bloated belly from eating dirt. He claimed he had no intentions to keep her after he took her to the vet, but she stole his heart. Other than their journeys together, she was always indoors. Dave kind of kept to himself, but he had a strong passion for animals. You can tell that summer misses him dearly. They spent 7 wonderful years together. She is waiting to find the loving home she deserves to fill the void in her life.
Grey (approximately 9 years old) Wish they all could be California Girls...see below.

Grey was originally from San Diego, California. Her owner is going into a retirement home and can't take her. She's spayed but still has her claws.

Junior (7 years old) male (ADOPTED! Way to Go Junior!)

Junior was injured by another dog, and the family decided to
surrender him to Pet Guardians.
A vet cleaned his wounds, which are already healing. Junior is able to walk now and is recovering quickly in his wonderful foster home. He should be available for adoption in a couple of weeks. Junior LOVES his foster mom's cat, and he follows her 7-year-old daughter everywhere in the house. Junior is NOT a hunting dog. He's great with people, children and cats, but he is afraid of large dogs. He seems to do well with dogs his own size.

Junior is an avid reader. He is especially fond of short stories--very short stories!
