Adopting Pets

The adoption process involves completing an adoption form and a home visit by a representative of Pet Guardians. Only residents of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania who have been screened and who have successfully completed the home visit will be considered for adopting a pet.

Dog Adoption Fees:

Age 0-5 years-$50

Age 5 and up-$25

Cat Adoption Fees: Donation

We ask for donations and adoption fees to offset costs associated with foster care. All members of Pet Guardians are volunteers and accept no payment for their services.

Please complete the adoption form or contact us if you are interested in adopting a pet. Specify whether you are interested in a dog or cat. If you are a resident outside Lancaster County, PA, please consider adopting a pet from one of the many other animal rescue groups in the area.
